Managing Partners

Ron Bienvenu
Mr. Bienvenu founded his first software company, The Vestlash Group, in 1988. After selling that successful company to a major publisher, he promptly started his second company, SageMaker, where he served as CEO until the company was sold to a large publicly traded company in 2001. In 2002, he founded ISIS Capital Management, LLC ('ISIS'), an investment firm specializing in active investment strategies and strategic transactions in information technology and other sectors. ISIS has completed numerous acquisitions and has led investments in opportunities as varied as hostile takeovers of public companies, debt financed transactions, reverse mergers and PIPE deals. While at SageMaker, Mr. Bienvenu raised more than $33 million in venture capital funding and acquired several technology companies in the U.S. and Europe. Since 2002, Mr. Bienvenu has raised over $200 million in various types of funding for a variety of software company acquisitions, including publicly held equity, senior secured debt and private transactions.
 
Today, Mr. Bienvenu is a Managing Director at the Louisiana Buyout Fund and ISIS and he serves on the board of directors of numerous software companies. Throughout his career, he has acted as a principal in over 30 software company acquisitions. He has also published numerous articles on the economics of the software industry and in 2009 he published his first book, The Fourth Shock. Mr. Bienvenu is a veteran of the US Army and attended Louisiana State University.

Ernest Mysogland
Mr. Mysogland has more than 20 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing and investment. Since 2002 through the present, Mr. Mysogland has been a Managing Partner of ISIS Capital Management, LLC (“ISIS”), an investment firm specializing in active investment strategies and strategic transactions in information technology and other sectors. During his tenure at ISIS, Mr. Mysogland managed all legal and administrative matters including numerous public and private company debt and equity transactions. Prior to ISIS, from September, 1990 through April, 2003, Mr. Mysogland engaged in private legal practice representing investors, issuers, acquirers and targets in hundreds of public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and other strategic transactions ranging in size up to $3.5 billion. Mr. Mysogland’s clients have included numerous software and technology companies, private equity funds and institutional investors. Mr. Mysogland graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the Columbia University School of Law.
